Towards the end this was getting weird, on the one hand we have a well done use of the Pokemons' abilities and the surroundings. after all this crappy YA and romance stuff, this is really refreshing."īut on the other hand: how come that in these mangas and organization smart enough to cover up two fighting gods via media manipulation and kidnapping of an entire town hires idiots like this one who spout exposition and vital information all the time? I mean it, using the special abilities of Pokemon to have a good tactic, used by both the villains and heroes. The story is pretty solid but sometimes the artist should have done a better job when portraying Pokemon, like here when Gardevoir and Mega-Gardevoir are barely distinguishable, albeit that is understandable, since they really barely look different in the game as well.īut still, you know it says something when mangas for kids have a better grasp on world-building and coherent plot than lots of popular YA titles have. This story has some good pacing and artwork and the story is mostly coherent but some silly things were unnecessary and I think we have way too much information on Mega-Evolution already.
