It has been a terribly harrowing and heartbreaking ordeal, having the bills pile up while we watch our cat get weaker.
However, due to the personnel shortage caused by COVID-19 this process has been dragging on and on for weeks. We are now referred to a local animal hospital for a more thorough biopsy, which might be followed up by further treatment & surgery. Freya has undergone several checkups, blood-work, medications, an ultrasound, and a biopsy, none of which have given us any concrete answers about her condition. The vet has tried several treatments and diagnostic procedures, which so far have proven unsuccessful. For several weeks now she has been eating less and less, and she is losing more and more weight and continues to lose energy.
We have been dealing with the arduous process of trying to diagnose and treat her current illness. We are raising money for the vet and hospital expenses for our dearly beloved cat Freya.įreya is our beloved child and an invaluable member of our family.
